What exactly is it that you and I are put here on this earth to do? I know this question has been asked for many years and each person has somewhat of a different answer but, the reason it is futile to think on too hard or it may lead to depression, agony, laziness, and for some just giving up altogether.  It has come to my attention that it is not the question that has bothered the masses but the act of doing it, as many deem this as too strict to put into words or the act is too painful to consider at the moment.  This reminds me of how we go to college and can not find a major that suits us or we just settle for one and graduate feeling miserable about the choice we made and never put the degree to use and end up working below our means, bouncing from job to job teetering on the brink of depression as the person eeks out a living.  We settle or accept what life has dealt us or is put before us and we go through life never going above the standards that society has set for us. We are ruled by laws, government, and people and each has their own directives that they set for each person to follow. I am not saying these are wrong but, who is to say that mankind was meant to fit a mold or a restriction of sorts just to "fit in" or fit the norm? Not everyone is going to be able to be a tech nerd, fly a commercial jet, play an instrument. Each person has something that they can contribute to their livelihood and to society and maybe it is not how the masses have it laid out for them to get there that will work for them.  Today's society is fast paced with a quantity mode put at the forefront with most not wired to be able to keep up with the hectic pace no matter how much they are trained or schooled. Dumb they are not, and those who see them as such really need to take a closer look at the callousness of their heart.  Stop calling names, pointing fingers, and thinking that they are useless and need to be banished from society as a whole. While you are making it big they are eeking out their existence on substandard living they are humbling themselves to get assistance or help with food and you still want to judge and mock. It would be nice if like the slow food movement there was a slower paced atmosphere, where fitting in was banned and mocking, was outlawed. Acceptable living is not acceptable, it is barbaric and ridiculous! Stop trying to fit everyone and everything into one mold and if that does not work you are a moron! Could the problem be that mankind has lost what the ability to see the facts and not want to correct them or even face the facts that we are not a cookie cutter society and we do not have to be? There has to be a line drawn somewhere that says enough is enough before we ruin the human race altogether and we keep segregating ourselves from people who are deemed not acceptable. You can not keep dividing the masses before too long you will have a society that gives up on believing in anyone or anything and not being all they can be.  Fixing you and you alone is where to start first removing all your stereotypes, judgements, hatred, anger, preconceived thoughts, and acceptable brainwashings. If the ends are to meet then try to find out why they are not outside of what you have been taught or learned and maybe, just maybe we can fix this. Or have we already went past the breaking point? I pray not!
